The half-eaten garlic bread.

A woman who celebrated a bingo win by ordering a Domino’s takeout was shocked to discover that her garlic bread was already half-eaten.

Karen Carman, 60, was celebrating her bingo win when she decided to treat herself.

The bingo winner from Blackpool said that the takeout was “obviously someone’s half-eaten meal” in an interview with the Metro newspaper.

Bingo winner, Karen Carman, finds her takeout half-eaten.

She said: “Along with it was an empty container of the garlic dip, the lid of which was stuck to the top lid of the box.”

Bosses at the Domino’s store said that staff had put their food on a “holding rack” to keep it warm and that the remains of a staff member’s snack had been sent out by accident.

However, Karen was not satisfied and reported Domino’s to council environment bosses in Blackpool.

“We certainly didn’t want to eat anything else after that,” she said.

“The thought that we had been delivered something half-eaten and covered in dirty grease made us all feel ill.”

Domino’s offered Karen a refund of £20 credit and vouchers for making a donation to the charity of her choice.

A spokesperson for the pizza company said: “It greatly concerns us when any aspect of our service falls below expectations.”
