We showed you the ways big name stars get fit, but what about those icons of the small screen: reality stars? Well, wonder no more, as we take you through the exciting world of reality star exercise DVDs.

Amy Childs Fit In 30 Days Zero to Hero in 30 Days

Amy Childs DVD

Amy Childs released this and the companion workout DVD in 2012, and they are still selling well. In the set, Amy works with personal trainer Drew Rush on interval-based workouts. You do loads of reps, with rests in between, to help burn fat and build muscle. There are five routines that take about 20 minutes each, so you can start by doing one routine a day and then work up to several routines a day, if you want.

Vicky Pattison’s 7 Day Slim

Vicky Pattison DVD

Vicky, star of Geordie Shore, claimed she used this workout to go from a size 16 to a size 6 in just a few weeks with this workout routine. You start with one routine a day, doing level one the first week, level two the second, and progressing through the levels until you complete them all. It was created with the help of personal trainer Robbie Thompson, Olympic long jumper Chris Kirk and fat loss expert Dvaid Souter, so you know you’ll get a solid workout.

Jillian Michaels 6 Week Six-Pack Flat Abs Fast

Jillian Michaels DVD

If you ever watch the American version of The Biggest Loser, you know who Jillian Michaels is. She is the coach that motivates obese Americans to get through their workouts through a potent mix of intimidation, shouting and encouragement that is shouted. Luckily, her workout DVDs are far less intense – at least as far as her words of motivation are concerned. There are two levels of workout intensity, both about 35 minutes long, so you can burn belly fat fast. Of course, if your stomach isn’t your biggest concern, you can buy some of her 15+ other exercise DVDs.

Josie Gibson’s 30 Second Slim

Josie Gibson DVD

Thirty seconds to a great body? Sounds like our kind of workout! Of course, this workout DVD, starring Big Brother’s Josie Gibson, takes a bit longer than 30 seconds. Instead, you follow a High Intensity Training (HIT) system whereby you target certain muscles for 30 seconds, then have an active rest. It really does boost your metabolism, and as Josie says, “it’s great if you’re a bit lazy like me ‘cos the hard bit only lasts 30 seconds at a time!”

Jodie Prenger Fitness Blast

Jodie Prenger DVD

This DVD from Loose Women’s Jodie Prenger also relies on HIT training, but it has a much more mix-and-match feel. There are 10 ten-minute ‘blasts’, including the warm up, the Upper Body Blast, the Cardio Carnival and the Pilates Cool Down. You can do one workout a day until you get a bit fitter, and then you can start combining different blasts for more challenging workouts.

So have you tried any of these reality star DVDs? Do you love them, or are they gathering dust? Which exercise DVDs do you swear by? Let us know in the comments!
