It’s summer – at least in Hollywood – and that means some of our favourite celebs are showing us how to rock new looks. These are the best celebrity summer trends. So far.
Cobalt blue

Sandra Bullock makes electric blue look elegant with a simple but unusual shape. Frankly, this is a shade that looks scarier than it is, so you can pull it off rather effortlessly.
Dungarees

This trend is not for the faint-hearted, nor is it for those who think it’s just a utilitarian piece of clothing. To make these work in the city, you need to ramp up the glamour in ever other part of your outfit. Or take a page out of Hillary Duff’s book, and treat them like layered jeans.
A white blouse with a twist

Jaimie King looks so ready for summer in this crisp white shirt dress. White blouses are all the rage this summer, as they look both polished and relaxed, creating the perfect summer vibe. Jaimie’s shirt has a skirt attached, but you can also rock unusual necklines, shapes and more. Just make sure the shirt is white, and you’re all set!
90s vamp

Rita Ora is clearly looking to turn heads following her breakup with Calvin Harris, and she chose a great trend to do it with. The spaghetti straps are straight out of the 90s trend, and the luxe black material and bright red lips are ideal for a sexy, sultry summer night.
Embellished

Here, the Kardashians Khloe and Kim show us mere mortals how to do summer embellishment. High necklines make the look seem regal, but short hemlines keep it from being too fussy (or sweaty). Of course, these frocks are stunning, but they’re not exactly practical for most people. Instead, do it like Amanda Seyfried: she’s got the high neckline and short hemline, but the less-is-more approach to embellishment makes her dress a lot friendlier to real lives.

These celebrity summer trends can be translated into real world fashion, though some looks will take more effort than others. So which ones do you love, and which ones do you loathe? Which ones will you be busting out this season? Let us know in the comments!
