America: a man from Indianapolis has won a $1 million for the second time in the last three months.
Robert Hamilton won $1 million from a scratch-off ticket he bought last week at an Indianapolis convenience store, Hoosier Lottery officials say.
His first win was three months ago in April. He was in western Indiana’s Jasonville while traveling to a conference when he bought a ticket.
Mr Hamilton beat the one in 2.1 million odds on two separate occasions while playing the Hoosier Lottery’s Cash Spectacular scratch-off game.
Mr Hamilton used his original winnings to buy a house, pay-off some debts, go on holiday, and also bought a new truck for his father. Now, he says that he will use his second winnings to buy a motorbike, and will also invest some of the money into expanding his business.
He described his second win as “the icing on the cake.”
He plans to continue working, and his wife, Donna Hamilton, told WishTV.com that the prize money will not change their lives too much.
“We’re just every day, normal people”, she said.
The lottery have said that Mr Hamilton’s prize-winning tickets are among the eight top prizes for its $120 Million Cash Spectacular Scratch-off game.
Lottery officials say the odds of winning a top prize from the game are one in 2.1 million.
