Gold Factory Review
Imagine if there was an industrial facility, spawning out golden bars like there’s no tomorrow, not dependent on the fluctuations on a stock market. Guess what, there’s no need to imagine – there (kinda) is! It’s a gold rush all the way with this Microgaming produced online slot game and we can barely contain our urge to pick a spade and mattock and just head west towards some gold mines.
But before we get to the gleam and luxury, there are some basics to be covered. Gold Factory is a five reels, fifty paylines online slot game with some delightful bonuses and mini games, but we’ll get to that. The low value symbols are all either golden coins or bars, stacked in various ways and volumes, while high-end symbols are certain fun-looking characters, a zeppelin, a submarine and a old train. The game logo serves as a wild symbol, while the big bonus coin is a scatter symbol, propelling you to bonus features.
Entering the game, you will get splashed and awash with golden shades in all shapes and sizes. The graphics is excellent and bright, with gold adorning everything from slot frame to symbols in the slots. The setting evokes the charm of 19th century gold mines and steampunk novels.
Music portion of the game will have you smiling from ear to ear (until you get fed up with it, when you’ll just mute it) – it is that kind of cheerful, merry tune you’d expect to be playing in your head non-stop in the case of obtaining a vast amounts of gold.
For a bit of Inception-like “dream within a dream” moments, head for a special mini game Boiler Room Bonus. This one is activated via landing at least three scatter symbols. In it, you are taken into a room with 12 boilers, choosing 4 and that many possibilities for winning a random prize. But here’s what makes this one unique – while playing this mini game, you can make way into another one: hitting a reactor bonus symbol on one of the boiler takes you to Reactor Bonus, where there are 12 chambers, all containing prizes except for two, which are malfunction symbols. Upon hitting one of those, you will be taken back to the Boiler Room Bonus. Alternatively, while in the Boiler Room, you can also visit the Free Spins room, should you find a boiler with a Free Spin symbol. In other words, it goes on and on and on before you are actually taken back to the actual slot machine. What fun, isn’t that right?
Gold Factory just hits home on all bases and is a true gem of a video slot game. Its stunning graphics and creative bonus features, multiple mini games is everything a player can hope for. Participate in the alchemy and amass the mountain of gold!
