Louis Smith of Tumble

On Saturday night, the BBC’s new flagship gymnastics show, Tumble will debut.

Former Eastender actor, John Patridge is the bookmaker’s favourite to win the show – which airs at 6.30pm.

The actor is the favourite to win with odds of 7/2.

However, Ladbrokes clearly do not think very highly of Loose Women star Andrea McLean’s chances of winning, offering punters odds of just 20/1 that she’ll win.

Sugarbabes star Amelle Berabah and Carl Froch are both at 5/1. Both have had to recently miss training; Amelle due to an ankle injury and Carl because he had food poisoning –and therefore it seems unlikely that they will outshine John this weekend.

The most bets have been placed on The Only Way Is Essex star Bobby Lockwood – who has odds of 6/1.

Ladbrokes reports that no one has actually placed a bet on Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding’s chances of winning, so she’s at 7/1.

Ladbrokes spokeswoman, Jessica Bridge, said: “John has form in the book, and we reckon his dance skills will be transferable to the gymnastics floor.

“However, punters clearly don’t have the same amount of faith in the Girls Aloud star.”

Here is a breakdown of Ladbrokes’ latest betting odds on the stars to win Tumble 2014:

John Patridge 7/2

Amelle Berabah 5/1

Carl Froch 5/1

Bobby Lockwood 6/1

Sarah Harding 7/1

Peter Duncan 7/1

Lucy Mecklenburgh 8/1

Ian ‘H’ Watkins 9/1

Emma Samms 16/1

Andrea McLean 20/1

In other news, Amelle of the Sugarbabes told the Daily Star that she fears she’s going to lose her curves while taking part in the show, saying, “I have noticed changes in my body.

“Everything’s tightened up, but I don’t want to lose my curves – my bum has to stay exactly how it is.”

Adding that she’s also lost weight, she said: “I would like to put on half a stone…”
