Cripes, it seems that all the recent coverage of Stacey Solomon smoking whilst pregnant has got her into a whole vat of hot water at Foxy Bingo. The guys at Foxy Bingo – who are fresh from having announced no less than five winners of their recent £100k free bingo spree – have dropped the former X Factor star from their ongoing Mum of the Year promotion after photos recently emerged showing Stacey having a puff while pregnant.
A statement on Foxybingo.co.uk has confirmed that Stacey has been dropped as their judge for this year’s Celebrity Mum of the Year, as well as having her title from last year stripped. The guys have thanked Stacey for her hard work, but given the recent negative press she’s ben receiving, it seems like Foxy Bingo aren’t too happy to continue working with her. Stacey was snapped recently having a cigarette whilst pregnant with her second child – and has spent the last 48 hours on a bit of an apology rampage, telling of her struggles to give up smoking, admitting to Loose Women via a phone interview that she sometimes has up to three cigarettes a day.
It’s sad news all round in our opinion, as we know first hand just how hard it is to give up smoking, and to be honest, we’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Stacey. That said, it’s obviously incredibly irresponsible to smoke whilst pregnant – but we’re reserving our judgement on this one folks. What do you think?
