We reported about a month ago about a bingo player who credited Bingo with her youthful vigor. The same is true of this “young lady” who just celebrated her 99th Birthday!
Win Homes celebrated her 99th birthday with friends and family in style on November 2nd. She asked that no one gave her a present but that instead donations be made to the “When You Wish Upon a Star” charity. “I’m hoping to raise a lot of money,” she stated.
Of course Win doesn’t only play bingo, she also is a bingo caller at the local over 55’s bingo club run by her close friend Sandra Booth. When asked about Win, Sandra said “She really is loved, she’s a special lady. We all think the world of her.”
Win is the oldest member of the club and also enjoys knitting. Win is looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday next year, but says that her daughters seem to be organizing the party already as she has been told not to make any plans!
