Call us crazy, but over the last few weeks, we can’t help but notice that some big name online bingo sites are mixing it up for their roomies with site makeovers. It must be down to the fact that Spring is well and truly in the air, but plenty of online bingo sites are ringing the changes with new additions to their site.

Most of the changes seem a teensy bit superficial, with sites like Foxy Bingo and Bet365 Bingo refreshing the look of their websites rather than adding too many things to their respective lobbies. For some sites, having a little bit of a facelift is the perfect way to attract new customers, whilst also keeping their old ones entertained and on their toes.

We’ve noticed Foxy Bingo have definitely shifted to a more streamlined look, with less of the marketing bumpf and more emphasis on their big money games.

A similar thing has gone down over at Posh Bingo, which has recently unveiled a brand new look just in time for their upcoming birthday celebrations – a well deserved change around we have to say, as Posh’s looks sometimes veered on the wrong side of classy in our opinion!

And sure enough, Bet365 Bingo have done a similar thing, with the site looking a lot more racier in the process, and perfectly showcasing their new sponsorship of Emmerdale, nabbed from the guys at Tombola Bingo.

And speaking of Tombola, as we said in this week’s online bingo roundup, the guys have also added a new game to their lineup, scrapping their Bingo Knockout room in favour of Bingo 60, which gives you five chances to win a share of five different jackpots in every single game. We love the fact that Tombola Bingo have clearly responding to player demands and mixed things up a little – sites that get stuck in a rut can definitely suffer as result.

Which leads us rather nicely to our main point – we can’t help feeling these efforts from some of online bingo’s major players are definitely in response to a huge wave of brand new bingo sites that have revealed themselves over the last few months.

Whether it’s Big Brother Bingo, Robin Hood Bingo or the tons of rumours we’ve heard about brand new site M8ts Bingo (keep your ears to the ground roomies, as we have plenty more to follow on that soon…), new online bingo sites seem to be stronger than ever, making this little world of online bingo that bit more competitive.

Staying on top of the competition by looking your very best is the only tactic bingo sites are using to keep us roomies interested – but we definitely salute Posh Bingo, Foxy Bingo, Tombola and Bet365 Bingo for their continued efforts!

What do you think of the changes at Foxy, Posh et al?! And more importantly, which bingo sites do you think are in need of a bit of a spruce up?! We’d love to hear your thoughts – sound off in the comments below!
