A new bingo craze is set to sweep the nation, but you may need to have the stomach for it! A new alcoholic bingo event is launching in Liverpool and if successful, it could find its way onto a high street near you soon! GinGo delivers all the fun of the numbers game with an alcoholic twist and it’s sure to be hit among gin lovers up and down the country.
Liverpool city will host the one-off event in September with help from singer Rosalie Galvin who appeared on BBC’s Altogether Now show. There will also be a DJ set with live songs being performed from early until late to keep the party spirit going for ticket holders.
The site is very similar to a traditional game of land-based; you purchase your tickets in bulk for the session and keep your fingers crossed for a win, only the prizes are gin-themed with some snacks and cash thrown in for good measure (see what I did there?).
Tickets to the event will cost £25 each and include four gin drinks, four rounds of bingo and a pincho (Spanish snacks). If you fancy giving it a shot (another badly timed pun), head to The Workshop in Waterloo Road from 7pm on Saturday 14th September.
Raving Mad:
The idea for the site came after a series of Boongo Bingo evening in Liverpool, where a typical night of fun consists of several rounds of bingo games which are separated by rave intervals. Head banging is guaranteed, so too are dance-offs, catwalks, over-priced pitchers and 90’s pop music – what’s not to love? Although, Boongo was hit with a set-back recently when the organizers of the event became embroiled in a fierce dispute with a venue who claimed to own the rights to the bingo concept.
Puzzling Prizes:
I for one am not entirely sure this bingo site will take-off, but then again, I’m not a huge alcohol fan. Basically, it’s a gathering at a club venue where drinks will be flowing – if you’re a fan of getting out and socialising (with head spinning), this is certainly a game to try, but that £25 entry fee could be a little steep for some.
If you prefer to play bingo in the comfort of your own home with a glass (or three) of Chablis, you’ll have just as much chances of winning, the only difference is you won’t be surrounded by gin and I’m sure the cash waiting to be won online is far more substantial, but there you go.
Don’t miss out on the twice a week special at Buzz Bingo, Viking Bingo and many more Jumpman Gaming bingo sites, where £1,000,000 is waiting to be won! Why spend at least £1.50p on a National Lottery ticket when you can spend 50p on bingo and win a million?
