Ludia have recently launched the Price is Right Bingo game on Facebook and already over 100,000 users have tied out this app.
The price is right is still the longest ever running TV game show in UK history and was an innovation in its hayday. If they brought back a re-vamped version of the game like they have done with catchphrase on prime time TV, I imagine it would become very popular once more with the viewing public.
They did come up with an updated version in 1972 for American viewers and the show is still currently produced in the US.
The UK version of the Price is Right has been hosted by four different celebs and run between the following dates – Leslie Crowther (1984-88), Bob Warman (1989), Bruce Forsyth (1995-2001), and Joe Pasquale (2006-2007).
The original Price is Right gameshow was created by Bob Stewart and produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman in 1956. Come on down was a great catchphrase which you still associate with the show today.
The company ‘Ludia’ are behind the Price is Right Slot game, which has over 500,000 users and now they have brought us a different version to play, this time it comes loaded with a bingo twist.
The price is right bingo app which is available to play right now on facebook comes loaded with some great features of the original show. It will allow you to engage in your favourite pricing game like you have never been able to do before; you can even challenge your facebook friends for bragging rights. It really does bring you competitive; real time bingo action which will keep you coming back for more if this is your kind of thing.
To play the game and enter contestant’s row you need to win bingo first. Once here you will have the chance to unlock mystery prizes with master keys and super charge your bingo cards with fun power ups. You are also able to collect and trade rare memorabilia on each pricing game to help build your own personal collection. The big wheel round could see you spinning in even more prizes, all virtual of course.
The price is right bingo game was enjoyable to play and visually the graphics were great, I just wish the prizes you could compete for were real. If this was introduced as a real play game where you could actually win stuff, I think it would be massively popular with the online bingo fraternity.
