Porn and bingo, together at last!

The internet being the internet it was bound to happen eventually. The details are few and far between at the moment, but a decidedly adult site called XXXBingo is on the way.

We already have to tick boxes to prove we’re old enough to gamble, but this site looks like being adult orientated in more ways than one.

So far, all we can really report is that there is a holding page in place which shows three silhouetted ladies who don’t appear to have remembered to have put their clothes on – an easy mistake to make when playing bingo, we’ve all done it. It’s in classically grown up colours, black and red, has all the right gambling information logos and a warning that this is for ‘bingo playing adults only’.

The typical online bingo player is generally reckoned to be a woman, and that’s how most sites pitch themselves – friendly, bright pastel colours are a favourite – but this site certainly looks like young men (and not so young men) are the target market.

How that goes is yet to be seen. It won’t be the first saucy bingo site on the web. Steamy Bingo used Dragonfish’s software and came slinking onto the scheme in similar black and red lingerie, before reverting to much more traditional clothes with cartoon beefcakes lounging around.

Naughty Bingo, a Cozy site, took a similarly raunchy approach, with its ‘naughty hosts’ Candy and Chris, who are both somewhat underdressed for a trip to the bingo.

Those sites though took a very jokey, Carry On approach to their adult content, whereas XXXBingo looks much more genuinely, well, pornographic on first glance.

It’s too early to judge if mixing fun gambling and adult entertainment will be a popular niche – there must be some research behind this, surely? It can’t be an idea that was dreamed up in the pub – and whether blokes want to play with their balls online.

Time will tell, and the opening offers and, of course, the quality of the games are likely to be the main reason behind whether this site fails or thrives.
