Game Village Bingo has been taken over by Angel Crest Holding Ltd, who say they have big plans for the site, which includes ‘bingo radio’ and the promise that it’s the ‘friendliest’ site there is – although they all say that.

There’s an intriguing link to another big bingo name in the transaction, which was reported on June 26. Two big names from RASR Entertainment, who run Sparkling Bingo, Bingo Magix and new site Rap Chic Bingo, are part of Angel Crest Holding’s team.

They are former Non-Executive director, Avaneesh Shivananda and the company’s founder Ravi Raghav. Both have been involved in the bingo game since 2007.

Village Bingo is one of the few stand-alone sites, with its own gaming software. Only Bingo Boogie also uses the same system.

The Angel Crest pair have some good things to say about Village.

“We feel that Game Village offers a very original player experience and the ultimate community solution. The software is original and gives us a competitive advantage in a growing sector,” Mr Shivananda said.

The sellers are moving out of the European market entirely as they concentrate on American projects. Naturally, they see the deal as a good one for Angel Crest.

One of Game Village’s big selling points is its UK-based chat and community team, which looks likely to stay in place. New products and the setting up of a network look likely to be on the cards in 2014 as the Angel Crest team get their plans in place.

“We feel Game Village is the perfect brand for our expansion in the U.K. and for the new opportunities which come along with this acquisition,” Mr Raghav said.
