Gala Bingo are spreading the news about one of their players who goes to extraordinary lengths to keep playing while going about her business.

The player’s name is Jo Kingston, and Gala are using the story to promote their new iPhone and iPad bingo aps.

Here’s how Jo plays while getting the housework done:

• Choose your fave room (Jo’s is Castle)
• Say, “Hello everyone”
• Buy your tickets
• Make sure the volume on your mobile is turned WELL UP!
• Stick your phone securely in your BRA!
• Proceed to wash up, clean toilet, make dinner and so on whilst listening to the game.
• Remember to take a peek when you hear it flashing!
• Remove phone from bra at the end of the game – then buy more tickets!
• Repeat from Step 6

Gala’s site was re-launched last year and its apps have just been updated too. You can now play 40 Gala games – including Chests of Plenty – and there are 13 new rooms. Gala says it pays out £2 million in prizes every day.

Gala Bingo have been quite busy in the publicity stakes lately. In June they were able to announce that one of their slot game players had won over £300,000. They then upped their welcome bonus to £40 for a £10 deposit. This month, they’ve been running a game offering 1,000 chances to win £1,000.
