So it turns out politicians are hypocrites, who knew?

Is Westminster filled with hypocrites? Nick Gunn certainly thinks so.

So, there you have it. If ever you needed an example of why you should never trust a politician this is it – instead of working, as we pay them to do, most politicians and their aides have been gambling online in-between arranging affairs and watching pornography, as revealed this weekend.

Most of them in Westminster like to lecture us about gambling, drinking, and – well pretty much anything that people enjoy doing. The latest is an obsession about cutting out sugar, or so the papers lead me to believe.

It seems a month doesn’t go by when they are not interfering with one aspect of life or another, and I am a little sick of it after nearly seven decades of being told what to do.

So imagine my smile and amusement at the rank hypocrisy of the suited men and women in Westminster who like to tell me that I shouldn’t play online bingo, but spend hours a day doing that themselves!
