A bingo player has won her dream holiday after clinching a national competition prize at her local club in Lancashire.
Lynda Pritchard won the trip of a lifetime at her Gala Bingo hall in Blackburn, reports local paper, The Lancashire Telegraph.
The 58 year old will be going on a luxury cruise to the Mediterranean.
Bingo players from all over Britain have played against one another all summer, with the hope of winning tickets to board the luxury liner.
Lynda, who lives in Hoghton, was fortunate enough to scoop the prize.
She told The Lancashire Telegraph that she is taking her sister, Ann Spellman, 59.
The sisters will fly out to Palma in Majorca in October to get on the ship.
The journey will commence, and on this all-inclusive, seven-night cruise, the pair will stop at some of Europe’s top destinations, including Villefranche and Toulon in France, Livorno and Rapallo in Italy and Barcelona in Spain.
The Thompson Dream ship features four restaurants, six bars, three lounges, a nightclub, beauty salon, casino and West End-style entertainment.
The two sisters will have a champagne reception on board, and will also have the chance to play at three Gala Bingo sessions in a private bingo room during the cruise.
Lynda has played bingo at her local hall for over a decade. She goes with her family three or four times every week.
She said: “It’s brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
“I must admit, I’m not a fan of cruising, because I’ve had some absolute disasters in the past, but I’ve been talked round, and I’m looking forward to it now.
“I’m looking forward to just getting away, and having a nice relaxing week.”
Really great holiday gift she got by playing bingo online, I have come across many of players at different bingo websites who have had chance of having luxury holidays. Anyways Congratulations to Lynda
