According to the website, new players at Isis Friends will automatically receive a £15 no-deposit bonus once their account is setup and an additional £10 once a six-step profile update has been completed. However, our experience was a little different.
We signed up, as instructed by the details on the website, but there was no free bingo bonus. So, we looked to the support staff in the ‘Friends’ section, which is an instant chat facility that allows you to connect with players (and support). Unfortunately, there was no live help available. So, we headed for the bingo rooms, where the chat host instructed us to contact support using a second (less obvious) live help facility that is accessed via the account settings. When we finally got hold of support agent Harry, we had to have a 40-minute conversation before we received our welcome bonus.
Once we received our bonus, we headed straight for the bingo rooms. We were fully expecting to find a lobby full of rooms from Roger’s Bingo but this was not the case. The two 90-ball rooms are networked with Roger’s Bingo but the remaining rooms are standalone bingo rooms…or so support told us. The bingo software wasn’t what we expected either. The sleek and well arranged play window is completely integrated into the main software – there are no new windows to open. You have full access to all other sections of the site while you’re playing bingo.
Buying tickets was a little confusing at Isis Friends. We checked THREE 5p tickets and hit the ‘Buy’ button but, for some reasons, this cost us £3.85! After investigating, we established that this was caused by big lags in the software that actually bought tickets after we had left screens that had frozen.
When we heard about Isis Friends, we rushed to see just how good this revolutionary new way to play bingo is. However, we were left a little disappointed by what we found. The software clearly has some teething problems and the staff still have some areas of expertise to brush up on but we don’t want to be too down on the site. We’re confident that Isis Friends is going to be a success – just as soon as they creases have been ironed out!
This place is worryingly slow at getting anything done. I signed up last week and had a reasonable sized win in the casino, the live help staff were useful at first but as soon as i tried to make a withdrawal the support at this place has become awful.
I’ve been trying to verify my account for a week now and keep getting the run around when contacting support, live help tells me to email support but email support tells me to talk to live help! Its go to the point now where live help just go silent when I ask them a question and I’m now waiting over 2 days for a response to a pretty basic question via email.
My verification documents were sent 6 days ago but my account is still totally locked out (with over £1000 in balance and unprocessed withdrawals might I add!).
I get the feeling I’m going to have to start chasing this up with their regulator soon because their support seem to think that they can just use a talk to the hand approach with their customers when they feel like it.
