Mobile Mess at 32Red Bingo

32Red Bingo is a leading online bingo site that’s powered by the Microgaming bingo software and, when we heard that 32Red was going mobile we were very excited indeed. However, in the first couple of days since the mobile launch, it’s been nothing short of a mobile mess at 32Red Bingo!

As online bingo journalists, we have bingo accounts from one end of the internet to the next, so we visited www.32redbingo.com from an iPhone but we were unable to login. The software kept telling us that our account credentials were wrong. So, we tried another account only to be greeted with the same error message. So, we swapped from an Apple iPhone to an Android-powered Samsung Galaxy and the same problems arose. The mobile mess continued!

Giving up on the 32Red Bingo mobile bingo client, we attempted to login from a Mac…then from a Windows 8 machine and then from the Mac again. All with zero success. So, we headed to the Live Help tab on the homepage. However, every time that we attempted to open the chat window, we were instantly timed out. As I’m sure you can understand, we were getting a little frustrated by this point.

The no-download HTML5 script used by 32Red Bingo to power both the online and mobile client was clearly having some teething problems. From the Mac and the PC, many of the links such as ‘play now’ and ‘deposit’ simply wouldn’t work. We refreshed the screen over and over again. Nothing helped. Finally, as if by magic, after nearly 90 minutes, four devices and a clutch of new grey hairs, we finally managed to get into the bingo rooms.

When we eventually managed to clamber through mobile cyberspace and wrestle our way into the 32Red Bingo mobile client, we found a sleek and well-styled platform that was simple and easy to use. Ticket purchasing, chat and the customisable options were all within easy reach and the games play out just like they do on a PC or laptop, including some rather undesirable sound effects and bingo calls but you can’t win ‘em all.

In summary, this morning was a frustrating morning but we’re hoping that, once the creases have been ironed out, the new HTML5 mobile bingo platform, playing at 32Red Bingo Mobile will become a joy but for now, we would advise you to approach with caution. If you don’t have the greatest levels of patience then, for the sake of your mobile phone, you may want to wait a little while before playing at 32Red Bingo.
