A former Ladbrokes betting shop in Bolton has become the latest target for ambitious developers. Plans for an ‘open all hours’ bingo and casino venue have recently been submitted to local planning officers. The proposed change of use is considered to be a proactive response to the changing retail and town centre environment, which is reflected in national policy and guidance documents.”
