Big bingo news to bring you this week from Tombola HQ and it involves a lick of paint and a whole new bingo game! After a week or so of teasing us, Britain’s biggest bingo site finally revealed all on Monday; a brand-new bingo variant – Bingo 75-Lines! As well as smartening up their regular American style shapes game (pattern bingo), they welcomed a Swedish version of 75-ball bingo where there are five winners guaranteed in every game!
The doors opened at 10am and everyone flocked to see what all the fuss was about and in a not-so-surprising move, the majority stayed! At its peak, the room was home to almost 3000 players all looking for a slice of the action, but with one chat room for that many players, it was bound to get hectic, but CM-Profiterole was there to make sure everything ran smoothly.
What is Bingo 75-Lines?
Simply put, it’s a bingo game with 75 numbers, five winners (at least!) and a jackpot! Each 5×5 ticket houses random numbers from 1 to 75. To win the one-line prize, you’ll need to mark a single line of five numbers across the ticket. Once the one-line prize is won, it’s on to two-lines where a total of ten numbers are needed on two separate lines. The process continues until you get to the full house – all five lines or a full ticket of daubed numbers.
The value of the prizes will…
…increase from one-line to the full house. At ‘rush-hour’ on Monday, the one-line prize was almost £200 with a full house of more than £1,500! Ticket prices start at 20p for one ticket and reach their peak at £2 for 4 strips. Remember though Fleas, it only takes one ticket to win so don’t over-spend! And, on top of the five prizes there’s a jackpot; call a full house within 53 calls to win an additional £1K cash prize!
