fierce-bingo-logoA site claiming to be the first specifically gay bingo site in the UK has opened its doors, with the announcement that Fierce Bingo has “come out of the closet”.

“The community have asked for it, and we are obliging – Fierce Bingo, the world’s first online gay bingo website, has launched!” the site declared in a news release.

And it seems the site is being loud and proud about its LGBT status, with a slightly stereotypical homepage graphic showing a nerdy (and presumably gay) guy embracing a drag queen.

It’s all done deliberately tongue-in-cheek, as Fierce Bingo says: “Just want to banter with other gay and lesbian bingo players? Now you can play and chat online in the safe, lively and monitored Fierce Chat Room.”

To celebrate its ‘coming out’, the site has scheduled some big-money promotions and jackpot games, which are likely to prove tempting to players regardless of their sexual orientation.

Sign up and receive a 300% deposit match – Fierce Bingo give the example of depositing £10, and therefore having £40 available to wager.

If you get lucky in the first month at the site, you could be one of the lucky winners of a ten-day beach holiday for two with £1,000 of spending money, or a $10,000 New York City Shopping Spree which gives you the chance to “take the Big Apple like the diva you are, and glitter your way down 5th Avenue”.

Regular happy hours and progressive jackpots add to the fun, and to the chances to win, and should help to keep you interested over the long term.

But it’s not all fun and games, as there’s also a serious side to Fierce Bingo: a portion of all the site’s earnings has been earmarked to be given to charity in the UK, in order to help support LGBT causes, and to give back to the community the site is targeted at.

One more thing to watch out for is the fact that, as a Dragonfish Network site, Fierce Bingo’s winners page appears to bring together big wins and results from all of the 100+ sites in the network.

With that in mind, just because you spot a familiar bingo handle among the list of names on the Fierce Bingo winners page, it doesn’t necessarily mean that person has ‘come out of the closet’.

In many cases, it’s likely that they won’t even know their name has been listed as a winner on the world’s first and only gay bingo site – which could come as a surprise to some!
