Play Wink Bingo

Wink is one of the latest online sites to offer Mobile Bingo. However, at the moment you can only bingo on the go with them if you have an iPhone.

We have been informed by Wink that they will be releasing a new version of their mobile app, which will support android devices and larger tablets such as the iPad pretty soon.

It does seem crazy really that they have launched their mobile product with only an app for the iphone, but not an ipad or any other android / tablet device. This will currently limit users and could cause some frustration for their members, as those who have iPhones will be able to bingo on their mobiles, but those that do not, won’t!

Another annoying feature of their iPhone app is – you cannot currently withdraw any money back to your bank account / credit card or whatever payment method you funded with. You can register with Wink through the app and make deposits, but not withdraw – which is really a complete and utter shambles and could make things very confusing for players.

To withdraw any funds, you would need to do this via their website.

Wink Bingo run on globalcom software, which is provided by 888.com owners of 888Ladies. Just like Wink, 888Ladies only have a mobile app for an iPhone at the moment.

On the new mobile version, 888Ladies were the very first site on this software to go mobile, followed quite closely by Wink and no doubt lots of other sites using this software will launch shortly. Dragonfish network sites (who also use the same software), have just begun rolling out their mobile product, which is the same as 888Ladies.

There are 100+ sites on the Dragonfish network, all different named brands running on the exact same software product and offering exactly the same games / promotions. There are very few DF sites which have their own exclusive bingo rooms and offers – Pink Ribbon Bingo, Nutty Bingo and We Want Bingo are some of the few who bring us their own deals.

Foxy Bingo is one of the top sites on the net today and they also run on globalcom software. Foxy rolled out a mobile version back in 2008, but at that time ‘mobile bingo’ did not take off for them –Fast forward to the present day and this is entirely a different story, as all bingo operators now seem to be battling to launch their mobile products.

Foxy now have the same mobile version as 888, Wink etc, but you may be forgiven for thinking Foxy do not offer any mobile bingo at all as there is nothing currently listed on their site advertising this.

Perhaps Foxy is waiting for the full range of apps which will support all devices to become available before they promote this on their site? When I searched for Foxy Bingo in the app store on my iPhone, nothing was listed for them. To get their mobile app, I needed to search for Foxy in Safari and then download the app.

In my opinion, launching a mobile product that can only be used on one device, which does not even have a function to be able to withdraw winnings – makes for a very poor player experience.

It might be worth waiting until their app supports all devices and has all important functions working before playing mobile bingo with these sites. However, if you do not mind a couple of the irritating features, you do have the option to bingo on your mobile now.
