Cashing In Makes All The Difference
News just in, tombola are changing deposit limits and its new rules will apply to all, which means you so you’ll need to pay attention.
Deposit limits are changing to ensure player experience and safer gambling are the best they can be and as a result, Britian’s biggest bingo site are introducing a fresh approach to deposit limits to give you more control over your spending.
The bingo community is still encouraged to set their responsible gambling limits and by doing so they will receive a bonus – the first time those limits are locked in a no wager bonus is awarded, which is good to know, so what’s changing? Instead of imposing limits on how much you can afford to lose (deposit), tombola will calculate your limits based on how much you deposit and withdraw – this is known as the “spend limit.”
Old vs New:
An example of the old way:
Timmy has a personal deposit limit on his tombola account of £50 per week. Once he has deposited £50, whether that be in one go or in multiples of £10 and £20, he will no longer be able to deposit any more funds.
Now for the new “spend limits”:
Timmy still has a weekly deposit limit of £50. He deposits £20 which means he only has a limit of £30 left to deposit this week. He wins £10 on bingo90 and decides to make a withdrawal because £10 is enough for a treat or two! This now means Timmy’s deposit limit for the week has increased by £10 (the sum he withdrew), taking him from £30 to £40.
The new “spend limits” bingo rules will come into effect in October when tombola will automatically switch all “Deposit Limits” over to the new “spend limits” so you don’t need to do a thing! Remember:
- A sitewide Net Deposit Limit of £250 per week/£1250 per month applies to all players. Sitewide means on both tombola and tombola arcade.
- You can set a maximum “spend limit” of £250 per day/week or £1250 per month.
- “Spend limits” can still be locked in place for up to 12 months to make sure you stay within your budget.
- Any existing or pending deposit limits exceeding £250 per day/week or £1250 per month will be adjusted in line with the new maximum “spend limits”.
Other responsible gambling tools at tombola include:
- Stake Limits: Set yourself a maximum amount that you would like to stake per single game, on either the bingo or arcade site. Bingo stake limits are 25p, 50p or £1 per game while arcade stake limits are either 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p or £1.
- Time Keeper: Manage the time you spend sitewide with 1, 2 or 3 hour session reminders.
- Game Freeze: If you think certain games are eating away at your bankroll too quickly you can choose to freeze them. You can choose to freeze as many bingo games as you like by ticking the box next to the game you wish to freeze. To unfreeze a game you will have to wait 24 hours before you can play the game again.
- Cooling Off: Temporary from playing for a period of 24 hours to 5 months.
- Self-Exclusion: Remove yourself from tombola and tombola arcade from a period of 6 month to permanently.
