Mecca Bingo Hall- Lucky or Not?

A bingo hall in the North East of England is claiming to be the luckiest across the whole of the United Kingdom, after a lucky bingo player scooped a huge cash windfall on the evening of Monday 20th May. The £50,000 prize was the fourth jackpot to be won at the club within a 12-month period.

The lucky fella was enjoying an evening out with his fiancé at the Stockton Mecca Bingo Hall, when he came up trumps on the National Bingo game, which was introduced in 2017. The ‘pay small, win big’ National Bingo Game is rolled out at a certain time across all land-based Mecca halls every evening and allows players to take part in a game to win a share of more than £250,000 every week for just £1.

The anonymous winner who has been a regular at the Stockton bingo hall for two decades said; “I’m still in shock. I’ve been playing bingo ever since my mum introduced me to the game. It’s a life-changing amount and has come at just the right time – my fiancé and I are getting married this August, so we’ll put some money towards that.”

But is this bingo club really the luckiest in the UK? Alastair Stewart, Business Development Manager at the National Bingo Game, seems to think so, but wouldn’t confirm if it were true or false; “This fourth jackpot win does make Stockton one of the luckiest areas in the country for bingo.”

A Daubing Success:

Launched by the National Bingo Games Association, the National Bingo Game offers delivers full house prizes of £50,000 every evening and a guaranteed £10,000 afternoon community jackpot every week. Evenings are triple chance with prizes of between £2,000 and £30,000 and half that in the afternoons; £1,000 and £15,000.

More prizes and more winners are promised, here’s how it works:

• Play for £1 for 2 tickets or £2 for 5 tickets
• Play for a full house only. The game plays with 50-numbers and a full house is 10.
• Play for a club prize in every club on every game
• Play for jackpots on every game: £100, £1,000 and £50,000

To win the big cash, you need to be lucky enough to call house within the following calls:

• Claim in 24 Calls or less and win a £100 jackpot
• Claim in 20 Calls or less and win a £1,000 jackpot
• Claim in 16 Calls or less and win a £50,000 jackpot
