Step Right Up to £10K Jackpots!

Tombola fans rejoice for a new game has been born! Okay, I tell a lie, an old game has had a revamp and it’s bigger and better than it ever was! And the same can be said for the cash prizes and the number of players trying to win! Basically, for those who are oblivious to the fact this unique bingo game existed, it was one styled on a rollercoaster with an average of about 60 players at its peak. But with a new launch comes new levels of intrigue and in the first day, there were some 1400 players looking for a slice of the cash pots!

Can you imagine how hard it would be to win with some 1400 players buying into a single game! This of course led to many (including myself) requesting there be separate rooms for each of the ticket prices; 5p, 10p, 25p and 50p and the feedback was taken onboard and sent to management.

Why re-launch a game that was already available? I wondered when you’d ask this. Back in December Flash died – a piece of software that was allowing the game to run on desktop, but it wasn’t only Tombola that was affected – the whole online bingo and casino industry was too (even the new NewSpins!). If games needed Flash to run, they would cease to exist until the software provider managed to deliver an alternative. Hence the newly launched Rollercoaster.

Emotional-Coaster of a Ride

It’s so simple and yet heaps of fun and getting your ticket to ride will start at just 5p and now because of new mechanics, you can play on mobile too! Each player can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets each. Select your ticket stake by using the bet adjuster arrows on the rollercoaster carts and press to confirm. Each of your carts will house 5 passengers, each with unique names. There are 40 different named balls; from Anthony to Julie, Kevin to Susan and the aim of the game is to fill your cart before anyone else to win!

Here’s a hint; the colours of the empty spaces in your cart are the coloured heads you need to keep an eye out for! Named passenger heads will be ‘dropped’ from the rollercoaster as it spins around the track and on average, games will last up to 15 calls. Now, it’s important to note that the number of heads can be more or less, depending on the number of players in the game.

There are two jackpots to be won, and not just in a one-off special either, the following a guaranteed in each game:

  • 5p tickets offer jackpots of £100 and £1K
  • 10p tickets offer jackpots of £200 and £2K
  • 25p tickets offer jackpots of £500 and £5K
  • 50p tickets offer jackpots of £1K and £10K

To win the jackpot (cash on top of the full house!) …

…simply call in 5 heads for the largest sum or 6 heads for the lower sum! Sounds almost impossible doesn’t it, but on the day of launch – Monday 25th, some 16 players managed to win a jackpot and many of them managed to win within the 5 calls deadline! I’ve been close many times with lots of 1TG’s, but I am still seeking that all-important 0TG!
