
The online gambling company Betfair has sealed a new licence agreement with Net Entertainment, the gaming content developer.
As part of the deal, the websites that are operated by the UK Big Fish Betfair brand will now be able to offer their players Net Entertainment’s range of online casino games.
The deal will cover Big Fish websites that operate in Britain, as well as several European countries.
The managing director of Net Entertainment, Björn Krantz, said: “We are very excited that Betfair has selected us as a partner and I wish them a warm welcome as a customer.
“This agreement will further strengthen Netent’s exposure on the UK market but also in other parts of Europe.”
Betfair Group plc is the largest Internet betting exchange in the world. Betfair is based in Hammersmith, West London, England. However, in 2011, it went offshore and registered its licence in Gibraltar. The Group has over 4 million customers worldwide and has a turnover in excess of £50 million a week. The company employs 1,800 people worldwide.
