Four Fang-Tastic Pots of Cash to be Won!

One of the biggest slot names in history is Immortal Romance by Microgaming, the vampire-human love story which dates back almost a decade! It was in December 2011 when we were introduced to Amber, Sarah, Troy and Michael, two vampires and two palefaces (humans). Michael, the 800-year-old professor of genetics has fallen head over heels in love with one of his students (yikes!), only she’s a little older than your average collegegoer. Basically, the professor remembers very little of his human life from centuries ago and has lived a peaceful immortal life by feasting on the flesh of wild animals instead of humans.

The Story Continues:

Troy, the 200-year-old scoundrel or vampire playboy, is an entitled being who uses his devilish charms and good looks to seduce women before eating them. His desire for human blood makes this guy a dangerous character, but he is loyal to Michael who saved him from death many years ago, and so far, he’s listening to what he’s being told.

Sarah is a 37-year-old doctor of pathology and the apple of Michael’s eye. For years she has been studying cellular regeneration in the hope of being able to cure blood diseases, which comes in handy when she finds out the man she’s dating is in fact 763-years her senior and a blood-sucking vampire! After the initial shock disappears, Sarah realises that Michael’s blood could be the key to eradicating diseases and because he loves her so much, he agrees to be her test subject.

Amber is the last character in the story, a loyal friend to Sarah and pharmacist. The 34-year-old is eager to get her pal to stay clear of the man she loves, but she won’t. Harnessing a hidden talent, Amber is able to manipulate unseen bio-etheric energies, which she uses in the brewing of her powerful potions and healing elixirs.

If you’ve ever seen Vampire Diaries and Twilight, you’ll understand all of these characters. There’s a witch, a vegan-vampire, a love story and that one friend who causes trouble and it’s certainly fun to watch!

A Decade on We’re Back:

Immortal Romance Mega Moolah is the latest slot machine to drop by Microgaming, only the plot remains the same as the original game, so do the bonus features, so what’s new? How about four progressive jackpots that can erupt randomly on any spin! Three scatter icons are required to trigger the bonus spins and each character has a special role to play. The bonus spins you receive will depend on how many times you have landed the feature. The possible options are as follows:

  • Amber: 10 free games with all wins multiplied by 5x.
  • Troy: 15 bonus spins with a vampire bats modifier. On each spin, vampire bats can randomly turn symbols into 2x or 3x multipliers. Up to six multipliers can appear with each bat burst.
  • Michael: 20 free games with rolling reels. Multiple consecutive wins are possible with multipliers of 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x.
  • Sarah: 25 spins with a wild vine modifier. Wild vines appear on the third reel only and when they do, they randomly transform symbols into additional wilds. Additional spins are awarded on the presence of 2 or more scatters.

Now for the jackpots! Maximum base game win is set at a mega £216K, only far more cash can be won this time around thanks to the Mega Moolah jackpot network. On any spin of any value, the progressive jackpot bonus can kick in, and when it does, you’re guaranteed one of the following pots of cash:

  • Mini: Starts at £10 and is represented by the grey segment. There are 10 segments of this colour on the 20-segment wheel.
  • Minor: Starts at £100 and is represented by the red segment. There are 6 segments of this colour on the wheel.
  • Major: Starts at £10K and is represented by the yellow segment. There are 3 segments of this colour on the wheel.
  • Mega: Starts at £1,000,000 and is represented by the white segment. There’s just the one segment of this colour on the wheel.
