The online subsidiary of the British pay-television broadcaster, BKsyB, Sky Betting and Gaming, has struck a deal with Playtech, the online gaming software firm.
Playtech will become Sky Betting and Gaming’s exclusive provider of casino and live dealer products.
As part of the agreement, Sky Bet customers will be able to access Playtech’s casino games library, which includes a range of table, card and slots games in both mobile and web formats.
SKY Bet will, as part of the deal, also use Playtech’s live casino offering. This means that players will be able to take advantage of Playtech’s live private gaming environment.
The two solutions have been launched, and are now available to all customers of Sky Bet with immediate effect.
Sky Bet’s director of products, Conor Grant, said: “Partnering with Playtech and utilising their industry leading casino platform allows us to create another exciting chapter in the development of Sky Betting and Gaming.”
Chief operating officer of Playtech, Shay Segev, added: “We have built a strong relationship with Sky over a number of years and are thrilled to be able to further consolidate our service provision to one of the industry’s most exciting operators.”
