Don’t want to “splash out” on expensive bubble baths? Looking for a thoughtful but affordable gift? Here are 4 relaxing recipes which are just the foamy ticket, ideal for a long soak after a hard day of playing on your favorite online bingo sites. Go on, you deserve it!
1. “Honey, I’m Home!”
This sweet, bubbly bath soak smells as delicious as you’d expect and takes just a few common kitchen and bathroom ingredients to make. You’ll need:
- 2 parts baby oil
- 1 part honey
- 1 part unscented (or honey/vanilla) shampoo
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Simply mix all of the ingredients together, pour into bottles, pop into a warm bath, lie back & relax! Live Laugh Rowe has the full tutorial.
2. Rose Tinted Spectacles
You’ll need to track down liquid Castile soap to make this lovely floral soak, but it’s well worth the effort. You’ll find it online and in most well-stocked health food shops and chemists. We found this recipe on VSPA Botanicals’ blog. To make it yourself simply mix together:
- 5 parts liquid Castile soap
- 1 part coconut oil
- 1 part glycerine
- 1 drop jasmine oil
- 2 drops essential rose oil
3. Hot Chocolate
Mmm…This chocolate bubble bath is super indulgent and absolutely worth the effort. Trust us. To make it for yourself you’ll need:
- 60g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 80ml soy milk
- 240ml unscented liquid soap
To make this bubble bath, warm up the soy milk but do not let it boil. Add the cocoa powder and stir until it has dissolved. Allow to cool, then stir in the soap. Add the lot to the tub, lie back and enjoy a truly decadent bath.
4. Simplicity Itself
