Like all its fellow sites on the 15 Network, Rovers Bingo is powered by the popular Jumpman Gaming software. It was launched in December 2012 as the seventh brand on the network, closely followed by Spice Bingo and Rap Chic Bingo.
Rising star: With 5 new sites on their way soon, 15 Network is the one to watch!
Getting started
Rovers targets a unisex audience with its blue and yellow colour scheme. And as a nation of dog lovers, what’s not to like about the comical cartoon dog mascot? Anyone familiar with Jumpman will recognise the layout; the site manages to pack in the content without becoming distractingly crowded and the software’s a pleasure to use.
There’s a registration form to fill out before you can join the games, but no payment details are requested at the time of signing-up. Like other brands on the 15 Network, Rovers allows you to customise your profile with a photo and extra details if that’s your thing, plus as you get to know other players you can add them to your ‘Friend List’.
Watch your progress: Keep track of your transaction and game history by clicking on the tabs on the left-hand sidebar of the home page.
Bonuses and deposits
Rovers Bingo offers a generous 200% first deposit bonus on a £10 deposit. You also get a free spin of the wheel for an extra £5 – £2500 guaranteed bonus, which means you’ll start playing with a minimum of £35. Any subsequent deposits are met with a 50% reload bonus, which increases as you rise through the ranks of the Rovers VIP Club.
All bonuses are shown on the ‘Promotions’ page with clear explanations. Click here to find out about the ‘Rovers Rewards’ loyalty point scheme and other seasonal specials. Promotions are standard for the network, with the familiar ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme, as well as regular offers like ‘Friday Night Take Away’ and ‘Weekend Wad’.

Lucky dog?
Rovers Bingo has four 90 ball games, with two rooms open 24 hours a day. There are also two 75 ball games although these are only open in the afternoons and evenings. These are the only types of bingo available so the choice is slightly limited in comparison with other sites out there. You are welcome to look around most rooms and join in with chat before you make a deposit though, which isn’t always the case elsewhere.
There are also six jackpot games as well as a £500 newbies game for new players. There’s a good choice of slots, table games and scratchcards too. Tickets prices for bingo start at 2p and there’s a free bingo room available to depositing players. Most progressive jackpot games are priced at 50p or higher, which seems a little steep given the relatively small prizes.
Streak buster: Buy 6 tickets for a game in the Lucky Stars room and collect stars towards free tickets if you don’t have a win.
Leaders of the pack?
Rovers Bingo has a small Facebook audience and no Twitter feed, but this is made up for by great chat hosts and a friendly, small community of players. Chat games are popular and well-reviewed, plus given the social side to the Jumpman software, they’re a great way to make new friends.
Given the trend on other 15 Network sites for interaction with players through blogs and social media, it does seem that the site is lagging behind a little in this department. There’s no smartphone or tablet app for Rovers Bingo either, and with the big names all going mobile it might be time Rovers learnt some new tricks.
Top tip: Click on players’ names on the right-hand side of the chat window to view their profile and find out more about them.
Pros
Rovers Bingo is a well-designed and easy to use site. Promotions, bonuses and games are clearly explained and the site aims a wide audience. Customer service is UK based and first-deposit and reload bonuses are generous.
Cons
The site doesn’t offer any unique promotions and its approach feels a little dated in comparison with newer sites on the network. Ticket prices are quite high and jackpots aren’t as large as you’ll find at other big name sites.
