You know that feeling of getting home late and not having the energy to cook? Well, my classic ham and cheese omelette recipe will be your knight in shining armour. This is the perfect mid-week recipe for busy mums.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3 slices of ham, diced
  • Handful of grated cheese.
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Little knob of butter

Method

  1. Whisk the eggs, add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Add the onion, cheese and ham into the whisked eggs.
  3. Mix well and until is all combined.
  4. Melt a little bit of butter in a frying pan. Add the mixture to the frying pan.
  5. Cook for a few minutes until most of of the mixture is solidified, carefully flip it over and cook on the other side.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
