It’s surprising how quickly you can be converted to a new game in online bingo. For years, I’ve been a guaranteed jackpot kinda gal, with my feet firmly rooted in my 90-ball bingo games. I love the idea of grabbing a 1 line or 2 line win alongside my full house, perhaps due to the days spent in the bingo hall before I went online. But recently, I’ve been trying my hand at coverall games, and I have to say, I’m converted. See, although you may think there are more chances of winning with a 90-ball bingo game, I’d have to disagree. More chances often mean more players – and I could be wrong here, but in my recent experience, I’ve found the 75-ball and coverall rooms a lot less crowded (a rare treat in an online bingo world that seems to be growing all the time).

I’m enjoying the variations you get with coveralls, something that your standard 90-ball bingo game sadly lacks. From the different patterns you can play to trying to cover your entire card in a set number of calls, there seems to be a huge amount of variety that I’ve been missing out from.

And despite my firm belief in the idea that sharing is caring, I’ve also found a great outlet for my selfish side in coverall games, where you get a bigger share of the jackpot if you do win than say in a normal 90-ball game. Instead of sharing out three or four or five prizes, I love that feeling of knowing that if I win in a coverall, I’m most likely to scoop the lot.

Yet on the flipside, it’s not just about the winners – I’ve found a couple of games recently in some bingo sites where the coverall jackpot also comes with a 1TG pot. Considering how often I’m stuck with one ball to go, I’m gonna be giving these a whirl next – especially as some seem to have bigger jackpots for us nearly made its. It’s all a matter of taste obviously, but the one thing I’ve learnt from my coverall conversion is that sometimes in online bingo, it’s great to experiment a little, mix up your games and try something you wouldn’t always go for. It worked for me, and I really hope it works for you too.
