Bingo Chicks closed its virtual doors sometime ago now, but you would be forgiven for thinking that this site was still live.
Why? Well when you land on their homepage, nothing has really changed from when the site was up and running. Lots of promotions are still listed (albeit out of date), a join up bonus is show, bingo jackpots and slot jackpots, everything you would basically expect to see on a homepage of an online bingo site – well that is not until you try to register with them and you are taken to a page which says –
This Connection is Untrusted – Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.
You are given three options to choose from –
- Hit the ‘Get me out of here Link’
- Click for technical details or
- Click to say you understand the risks
What would you do? On a scenario like this, we would advise you to hit the (get me out of here link). When you click this link you will be taken directly back to your browser window and away from the site.
There is no option whatsoever to sign up with them, well there would not be, as the site is not open.
This begs the question – Why has their homepage not been taken down and replaced with a big closed notice?
M8ts Bingo run on Parlay software, just like Bingo Chicks did and M8ts closed down their virtual doors just last month. However, in the case of M8ts there is a notice up where their homepage once was which states the site is now closed. They also direct their former members to Bingo Palace, who have taken over all their players accounts.
Why has the homepage for Bingo Chicks not been taken down yet? And why are they not making it clearer for players that their site is closed? There could be one very good reason – at the top of their homepage there is a link to an online bingo comparison site.
Have Bingo Chicks been kept up purely to re-direct players somewhere else? Well it does seem so, which is rather cheeky of them really and very annoying and misleading for UK bingo players.
There only one saving grace is – If you do look closely at the top animated banner on the homepage, it says – Bingo Chicks is having a makeover, so we are not accepting new customers right now, but we will be back soon. Please withdraw any funds from you existing account.
But this only really adds to more confusion, because on one side of the coin they have got animated banners saying ‘Join Now’ and pick up a bonus of up to £200 and the other there is another banner saying they are having a makeover – so very frustrating!
Bingo Chicks is CLOSED and as far as we are aware, their virtual doors are to remain shut.
