The internet is going mobile at a crazy rate, and bingo is joining the stampede. The latest sites to offer their games on tablets and smart phones are the United Bingo network family, which includes Moon Bingo, Robin Hood and Gossip Bingo sites.
We Brits are the biggest mobile gamblers in the world. Last year 14.2 million of us used mobiles and tablets to play games for cash online. Smart phone users are the biggest players of all. Of all internet users who have gambled in the UK, 29% have used smart phones to stake and win.
United will now support players on iOS, Apple’s operating system and most smart phones.
“Now players from every United brand can enjoy their favourite slots and bingo games on-the-go. Considering mobile gambling has seen a huge increase in the last year, we are very pleased with the launch of our new acquisition and retention channel,” said United Bingo CEO Adi Frum. “Moon Bingo is now also available on iPad, and we will roll out the rest of our brands on tablets by Q4 this year.”
The stampede started last November when Robin Hood Bingo put on its Lincoln green and headed for the mobile world. It’s an award-winner, picking up the Best New Bingo Site 2012 gong.
Moon Bingo should be accessible from your phone now along with Polo and Gossip. Now the company’s MoonGames casino site is heading the same way too. The company also run Spectra Bingo and Glorious Bingo.
United uses Dragonfish software and their sites are registered in Gibraltar. The company, which says it’s an expert in the UK bingo market and
now there’s no excuse for ever logging off!
