Weekly Round-Up of Bingo News – What’s Occurring?

Celebrate 25-Years with Cyber Bingo’s Birthday Offers

Top story this week is of an NHS nurse who scooped £50K (on top of the in-house winnings!), on the National Bingo Game. The lucky woman has revealed she will be splitting her winnings 50/50 with her daughter who recently got engaged. How did she win it? By calling house on the 50-ball bingo game within 16 calls! Ten number stood between her and a life-changing sum of money and now, thanks to lady luck being on her side, her daughter can have the lavish wedding she dreamed of!

New Experiences:

Buzz Bingo introduced new session bingo, where a one-off fee guarantees an hour of bingo games with three chances to win per game. If you’ve ever played at a land-based bingo hall, you’ll instantly recognise how session bingo works.

Tombola have recently introduced four new instant wins to their Arcade site, each offering free games and a top prize of up to £500. Chests, Snapshot, Retro and Lamps are available to play from 5p each with wins awarded on a 3-of-a-kind system. Plus, Tombola is now offering debit card users much faster withdrawals, with players waiting on average just an hour to receive their funds! That’s much quicker than PayPal too!

Gala Frustrations Continue:

There still seems to be major issues between Gala Bingo and its customers, with no signs of the complaining slowing – or stopping! If you missed last week’s news, you missed a corker! Gala Bingo came under major attack for ignoring the customers and doing what they were told not to! A week is a long time in bingo, but those complaints keep on rolling in!

All we’ve had from Gala Bingo in response is: “Sorry for any hassle with this. Just a heads up that we’ve had word the site upgrade isn’t finished just yet.”

Upcoming Events:

Bingo Loco announced it would be returning to Glasgow for the first time since 2020, bringing with them an array of bingo playing madness to the city! Known for their crazy antics, the company mixes bingo dabbing with contests, dance-offs, singing and much more, with prizes ranging from cash to inflatable dolls! Here’s what William Meara, minister of mayhem at Bingo Loco, said on the brand when speaking to local media: “The global demand for immersive and interactive entertainment shows that people want more from a night out, and we’re all about more. We dragged bingo from the dark ages into a full-blown rave.”

Bongo’s Bingo, another totally bizarre bingo experience is coming to Pontins in Prestatyn Sands, North Wales in September, in a once-in-a-lifetime takeover! Between 24th and 26th of September, Charlotte Church, Bassshunter, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, Nadine Coyle and Ultrabeat will be among the stars performing to a bingo dabbing crowd. When the party’s over, there’s no mad rush for revellers to get out of accommodation, all thanks to a new leisurely check out rule of 3pm in force!
