For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term Slingo, it’s an online single and multi-player game that combines elements of slots and bingo; so double the game and double the fun! Founded by Sal Falciglia in 1994, the concept only took off recently when gaming titles such as television classic gameshows; Deal or No Deal and Price is Right were given the Slingo twist…
…and I’m about to show you just how easy and fun they are.
Gameshow Twist:
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire – Get a Slingo by marking off 5 numbers in a row, and every time you do, you’ll reveal a symbol with a prize amount attached. If you manage to collect the correct number of symbols shown, you’ll win the corresponding prize for that symbol. But it wouldn’t be Who Wants to Be a Millionaire without iconic features such as phone a friend or ask the audience, so you’ll find all these and many more on the gaming screen. Plus, you can win up to 100,000x your stake up to a whopping £1,000,000 if you hit a full house in seven spins or less – so get in the hot seat and wait for the lights and heart-pumping soundtrack to play, before the game begins!
Deal or No Deal – Thankfully, there’s no Noel Edmonds or Banker insight, just the infamous red boxes and a top jackpot of £100,000 in cash. As in any other Slingo game, you’ll be presented with 5×5 grid, but in this game, it’s filled with numbered boxes, which go a lot higher than the number 22. Each box contains a prize, which could be any of the values listed on either side of your grid, blue or red – again like the show. Eliminate prizes with every pick and work your way towards an offer from the banker.
Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) – The much-loved talent show meets slots and bingo in Slingo Britain’s Got Talent! Find all the usual Slingo characters and play for a whopping £20,000 jackpot! Features include;
- Joker: Wild symbols that can mark off any number in the gaming area
- Super jokers: Wilds that can mark off any number in the whole grid
- Three or more jokers (or super jokers): Awards an instant cash prize
- Bonus spin symbol: Awards a bonus spin
- Coin symbol: Awards an instant cash prize
- Devil symbol: Blocks potential matches on the reels
The Price is Right – “Nice to see you…
…Nice!” If you haven’t guessed by now, this version of Slingo is based on the gameshow which was originally hosted by Bruce Forsyth, before being shipped across the pond to the US. The Price is Right has landed at Slingo – and its every bit as entertaining, action-packed and exciting as you’d expect it to be! Collect symbols and try to hit winning combinations, and along the way, you could benefit from multipliers, extra chances to win, an instant prize and bonus games from the tv gameshow itself;
• Plinko: There are win and lose sections at the bottom of a bagatelle board in this wonderful bonus, and you need to earn chips that you can place into the board at the end of the game in order to aim for a prize.
• Half Off: Eliminate boxes and increase your chances of winning.
• Master Key: Featuring three safes, you mission is to turn over the face down cards to find the keys to open the box!
