Astro Bingo Review 3 1

Rated by 1 members

Astro Bingo is a loosely space-themed bingo site that offers a variety of popular bingo games and side games, which include some unique and unusual games.  Astro Bingo uses the Parley Bingo software, which makes a change from the usual Globalcom/888 platform that’s offered at every other site on the internet.

So, will the less common bingo platform deliver a fresh and unique way to play online bingo?  Let’s take a look and find out.

Fire Up the Rockets

Opening a new account at Astro Bingo is a pretty simple affair.  Although the signup form isn’t as intuitive and easy to use as forms at other bingo sites, the whole process is pretty painless and it doesn’t take a great deal of time.  You need some contact and personal details but you are not asked for and financial details at this point.  Simply head over to www.astrobingo.com and join the space-race.

Extra Rockets

To blast off your playing days at Astro Bingo with a bang, there’s a £10 free no-deposit bonus that’s yours as soon as you’ve completed the registration.  There’s also a generous 200% deposit bonus of up to £250 when you first fund your new bingo account.

Bingo Rooms and Games

Astro Bingo has eight bingo rooms to choose from, each with their own schedules and specials.  These eight bingo rooms play host to a variety different types of bingo games, which include US-style 75-ball bingo, 80-ball shutterboard bingo and classic 90-ball European bingo.

Money Tree: Open daily from 6am until midnight, featuring both 80-ball and 90-ball bingo variants, including hourly £5,000 jackpot games.

Dream Catcher: Open daily from 6pm until midnight, featuring 90-ball bingo games, including jackpot games and tickets from just 2p.

Night Owls: Open daily from midnight until 6am, featuring 90-ball games, including minimum £10 jackpot games and tickets from a penny!

Mad House: Open Monday 12pm until 2pm, and Wednesday and Saturday nights from 9pm until 11pm, featuring 75-ball pattern bingo games.

Spin Room: Every time you make a deposit at Astro Bingo you receive a spin of the Prize Wheel for the chance to win tickets to special daily bingo games in the Spin Room at 9:50pm.

Bonus Bingo: Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm until 6pm, featuring three part prize games, BOGOF bingo, progressive jackpot games and prebuy tickets.

High Roller: Open every other Thursday night between 9pm and 10pm, featuring huge cash prize games for VIPs, which offer great chances of winning due to being open exclusively to VIPs at Astro Bingo.

2nd Chance: Open every Tuesday from 8pm until 9pm, featuring free bingo games with £15 jackpots for all players who have played real-money bingo games at Astro Bingo during that week.

There are a number of online slots and bingo side games to play at Astro Bingo, as well as a quirky little single player bingo game called Showball Max Bingo.  This unusual game is a hybrid of keno and bingo, with a range of ticket prices and jackpots to play for.

The Gaming Network

Astro Bingo is a member of The Gaming Network, which is also the home of other Parlay-powered bingo sites such as Bingo Bulldog, Bingo Mania and Eyes Down Bingo.  Although not the busiest of bingo Networks, there are still some big jackpots to play for and a variety of bingo games and rooms to choose from at The Gaming Network bingo sites.

Flying Your Spaceship

Parlay Entertainment builds the bingo platform used by Astro Bingo.  It’s not the most stylish or sleek bingo platform but it does work pretty well.  There’s a large chat window and ticket display, as well as a small number of information displays but you may find that the game and account info is a little thin on the ground.  You may want to mute the caller, who sounds like his voice is being broadcast via a plastic drainpipe directly from California and be aware that you must have made a deposit before you can see the chat window.

Our Verdict

Astro Bingo is an okay bingo site.  We’re not going to go overboard with our applause, as there are more cons than pros to playing at the site.  Sure, the bingo platform offers a less frequently found bingo experience but it’s also an inferior bingo experience than you would receive while playing at a Globalcom or Cozy Games-powered bingo site, for example.  Also, the bingo rooms are quiet – even though the rooms are part of a network.  There were no warning signs that we ‘shouldn’t’ play at Astro Bingo.  However, there was little that made us want to come back again!

I used the nd bonus here. That worked ! When I play here, it’s mostly bingo only. Don’t liked their slots. Their bonus offers could be better.
