Those wacky celebs are at it again. Some are making shocking revelations, and some are just doing what we expect of them. Below, we look at some of the best examples of bad celebrity behaviour this month.
Singer Lana Del Ray released a new song recently, called “F***ed My Way Up to the Top”. Though you can probably guess at the song’s main message, Lana discussed it recently in Complex magazine. In the interview, she admitted that her song had an element of truth to it, saying, “You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry. But none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying.”
Lana Del Ray has courted controversy since shortly after her career started, when it was revealed that she was actually called Lizzy Grant and that she was not some underground viral sensation, but perhaps a contrivance. Some claimed that her alter ego was the result of careful planning by her management agency, and that her career has mostly been helped by her millionaire father’s financial backing.
Still, the sleeping with part was true, she said, and there has been plenty of gossip around that, too. She recently broke up with Barrie-James O’Neill, former frontman for Scottish alt folk band Kassidy, and she has been rumoured to have hooked up with Marilyn Manson, Asap Rocky and Axl Rose of Guns ‘n Roses fame. And there was that seven-year relationship with a head of a record label, so we might just have to take her word for it.
Snoop Dogg claimed he smoked a joint at the White House
Is it really considered bad behaviour if it’s exactly what you’d expect from a celebrity? Well, in Snoop Dogg’s case, it might be considered bad form but completely normal for him. On Snoop’s YouTube show, GGN, he admitted to American talk show host Jimmy Kimmel that he did smoke it up at the White House – though he was keen to emphasise that it was “not in the White House, but in the bathroom.” Because that’s so different. Watch him tell his bizarre tale above.
Just watch the video. That’s all the explanation you need, really.
This month’s bad celebrity behaviour could have been worse, but really, we’re glad these celebs are keeping it on the fun side of naughty, rather than being truly bad. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
